Aaron Major wins the 2024 Many Stylessss of Bowling Open.
Aaron Major wins NEBA Title # 3 while defending his title of the Many Stylessss of Bowling Open at Bowlero East Haven in East Haven, CT, on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
We had 164 bowlers competing in our first NEBA event of 2024, with 40 bowlers moving into a match-play competition on Sunday afternoon. Aaron qualified in 11th place in this high-scoring event with 1267, while the High Qualifier was Tom Coco, Jr with an impressive 1376. As Aaron drew a one-round bye, he faced off against Chris Forry in the second round, defeating Chris 248 to 215 for Aaron to bowl against our NEBA president, Bruce Hall, for round 3. Aaron went spare, the next ten strikes against Bruce and beat him 287 to 211. Aaron defeated Anthony Yokubatis 278 to 175 in the fourth round to face NEBA champion Paul Smith. There was no stopping Aaron while he defeated Paul 246 to 219 to now meet Kyle Perillo in the Championship match, where Aaron again had the front ten to finish out with a 289 to Kyle’s 237. Aaron averaged an impressive 269.6 for match-play on Sunday afternoon.

Our next tournament will be our East Coast Sports Investors Trios Event on Saturday, February 24th, and the KR Strikeforce Doubles on Sunday, February 25th, hosted by East Providence Lanes in Rumford, RI.
This is also the second stop of the Paul Forry Memorial Cup Series where the top 4 teams (8 bowlers) on Sunday will qualify to participate for a chance in the $10,000 prize fund, thank you to the Forry family for all your support over many years.
