Anthony Pepe joined Dick Millward, Chris Rebstock. RJ Broege and Steve Blanchet as a 2-time champion of the Tournament of Champions on Sunday. He led the field in qualifying with 1144 and was the only bowler to shoot 200 each game (247, 223, 269, 201, 204) on the challenging sport shot. He defeated Tony Reynaud 448-431, Brian Egan 401-370 and Bob Volk 501-324 in the semifinals. In the final match against Amanda Broege, Pepe took a 37 pin lead after winning the first game 192-155 as Amanda struggled through an injured hand. He continued his fine bowling with a 236 in the second game for a 428-317 victory at the Brunswick TOC. Pepe won $1,600 plus a $100 entry to defend his title in 2016.
