At AMF Circle Lanes on March 30, 2008: Mike Cordeiro wasn't nervous at all once he qualified for his first career NEBA semi-finals. He defeated Rob Mota 245-194 then won his first title with a strking 257-225 win over William Tessier in the championship match. Mike qualified for match play as a reentry on the last squad. He averaged 220.1 for his 16 games in East Haven and took home $2,300 plus a $100 paid entry in the 2008 Tournament of Champions, and a white champion's shirt. William won $1,275 for his runner-up finish.
