Colby Hagemoser secures title # 2 with his win at the Storm, Roto Grip & 900 Global Tournament of Champions at East Providence Lanes in East Providence, Rhode Island.
We had 60 bowlers, with 16 making the 2-game total match-play finals. As Colby qualified 13th for the event, he faced the number 4 seed in Brandon Robertson, defeating him 469 to 427 during Round One of Match-play. This allowed Colby to face Jon Wilbur in round two, where he narrowly secured the win 354 to 351. Now moving on to the semi-finals, Colby faced the number 1 seed in Ryan Graywacz, where he was victorious from 400 to 388. Now Colby will be bowling in the title match against Tom Coco, Jr., who has been knocking on the door of the winner’s circle recently. However, Colby defeated Tom 369 to 361 for his second NEBA Title in the past two months.
We want to thank Storm, Roto Grip, and 900 Global Family for your continued sponsorship of NEBA and the sport of bowling.
Our next tournament will be our last events of the year, with the Better Bowling Concepts Senior Open and the Ideal Bowling Concepts Open hosted at Norwich Bowling & Entertainment in Norwich, CT, on December 16th & 17th. This is also the final stop of the Paul Forry Memorial Cup Series, where the top 20 will participate in the $10,000 prize fund. Thank you to the Forry family for all your support over many years.
