We had 167 bowlers compete this year for the Bowl Winkles Pro Shop Open, presented by Ace Mitchell Bowling Supply. We had 40 bowlers move onto the single-game match play final on Sunday afternoon. Nate qualified 21st with a score of 1175 through the at-large, which was enough to grant him a one-round bye. Nate defeated the number 12 seed Tyler Hurne 257 to 233, advancing him to the third round, where he defeated RJ Broege 226 to 207. His win advanced him into the semi-finals against Keith DeMaine, whom he defeated 236 to 216, advancing him into the championship match against NEBA Champion Joey Transue. This championship match went down to the tenth frame, where Nate needed a double to secure his first NEBA title and defeated Joey 246 to 238.
