Russ Michaud Gets #10 in Fifth Decade!

Like many others coming from the north, Russ Michaud woke up to snow on Sunday but ventured down to East Providence, RI to compete. He made the right choice since he hit double digits with his tenth title. He has won a title in each decade since he first win in 1978. He joins Barry Warshafsky as the only two who have accomplished the feat of winning in five decades. Russ was victorious in the championship match with a 278-203 victory over champion Bill Tessier. Russ won $1,500 plus a paid entry into the Brunswick Tournament of Champions while Bill took home $950 for his runner-up finish
