Stone Bouchard wins his first NEBA Title, capturing the win at the Yankee Lanes Manchester Singles Open in Manchester, NH.

Our third event this weekend at Jeff Barden’s Yankee Lanes in Manchester was the Yankee Lanes Singles event held on Saturday night and Sunday with 153 entries, where the top 32 headed into single-game match-play on Sunday afternoon. The top 32 Bowlers were led by the High Qualifier, Andrew Hall, shooting +290 for the five qualifying games.

Our Champion, Stone Bouchard, qualified with a score of +113, having him start match-play in 18th place bowling against Tiler Levesque, the 15th seed. Upon defeating Tyler 221 to 202, Stone faced the number 2 seed in Ian Fitzpatrick, who came up a little short as Stone defeated Ian 264 to 167. Moving into the round of 8, Stone defeated Kiernan Reeve-Patel 206 to 167 to advance to the semifinals, where he just squeaked through beating a very tough Chris Forry 219 to 213 to set up the final match against the number 16 seed in Tom Coco, Jr. Stone continued to strike his way into the Champions circle defeating Tom 249 to 202.

Stone took home $1,700 for the win plus a paid entry into this year’s SPI TOC event on Sunday, November 19th, while Tom received $1,100 for his second-place finish.
