At AMF Silver Lanes in East Hartford, CT on August 23, 2009: Chris Viale defeated Alex Aguiar 195-179 to win his first single title. His other NEBA win was at the doubles tournament in October 2002. Viale won $1,500 and a $100 entry into the Tournament of Champions. Aguiar won $850 and regained the points lead with his runner-up finish.
